The Philippine government is coordinating with Indonesian authorities as regards the return of the two companions of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo to the country, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said Thursday.
Guo’s companions, Cassandra Li Ong and Sheila Guo, have been intercepted in Indonesia by local authorities.
“Yes, well you know what I know. That they were intercepted… in Indonesia, and we are now, of course in coordination with the Indonesian government and the agencies. Arranging for them to be brought back. Siguro within a day,” Marcos said.
Local officials in Indonesia continue to conduct manhunt operations to capture the dismissed mayor, who is believed to be in Indonesia. —NB, GMA Integrated News
