MANILA, Philippines — For the fourth straight year, Quezon City kept its ranking as Overall Most Competitive Local Government Unit under the highly urbanized category of the Department of Trade and Industry’s competitiveness index.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said on Sunday that the city government secured high spots in the categories of Overall Most Competitive Local Government Unit, Most Competitive: Infrastructure, and also received a special award from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines for garnering the most number of intellectual property filings.
