BY the end of 2023, the Philippines recorded the strongest economic growth out of all Southeast Asia, driven by the rise of investment and services. To keep up with this fast-paced increase, the Philippines must focus on digital transformation to help drive the national economy.
The country’s digital growth is hampered by several persistent challenges, including the digital divide between highly connected urban centers and remote and rural areas, unadapted and limited network infrastructure, slow speeds of connectivity, and high costs of equipment and communications infrastructure.
