An unannounced fire and bomb threat evacuation drill was conducted at the Supreme Court (SC) and the Court of Appeals (CA) on Thursday afternoon, according to the SC.
In a message to reporters, SC spokesperson Atty. Camille Ting said that the drill was conducted at around 2:45 p.m.
“Debriefing is ongoing. Initial assessment is good so far, but there is room for improvement,” the spokesperson said.

SC employees were asked to evacuate the building while others could be seen waiting outside the SC compound along Padre Faura Street.
Meanwhile, a bomb squad of the Philippine National Police arrived while the street was closed off.
