TV5 and South Korea’s MLD COMPANY have opened auditions for Be The NEXT: 99 Dreamers, a global boy group survival show set to premiere in 2025. MLD COMPANY is known for the success of popular groups like HORI7ON and Lapillus.
The show will feature 99 aspiring male artists competing for a spot in a new international pop group.
Auditions are open until Oct. 18 for candidates born between 2000 and 2009, including those with prior TV experience or a debut history. The show will feature interactive fan voting and promises an engaging journey for both participants and viewers.
“We are committed to discovering new talent,” said TV5 President and CEO Guido R. Zaballero. “With MLD COMPANY’s K-Pop expertise, we believe we can shape the next generation of international pop superstars.”
MLD CEO Lee Hyoung Jin expressed excitement about the collaboration with TV5, highlighting the potential to combine K-Pop training with global talent to create the next major pop phenomenon.
