Fashion trends come and go and for those who put more value in comfort, the resurgence of wide-leg pants — the quintessential ’70s and early 2000s silhouette — is a much welcome trend.
Among those who cannot get enough of the versatile fashion piece are actors Donny Pangilinan and Jericho Rosales. Not only are these pants comfortable, they provide striking silhouettes for everyday wear.
“For me, wide leg pants — which was on trend when I was starting in showbiz — can create s sophisticated look. It’s all about looking sharp while feeling at ease,” Rosales said at the recent Uniqlo Wide Pants Collection Style Talk held at SM Mall of Asia’s Main Mall Atrium Hall.
“I think for me these pants are the perfect balance between casual and polished. I swear, even before Uniqlo approached me, I am already in love with their pants, especially these wide-leg pants which I know own multiple pairs of,” Pangilinan shared.
Throughout the talks, the two actors shared how their looks with the Wide Pants items elevated to their own styles, as they were joined in the panel by celebrity stylists, Cath Sobrevega and John Lozano.
