Accounting outsourcing firm TOA Global opened its second Cebu office at the Cebu IT Park special economic zone.

The new office occupies more than 5,000 square meters spread across five floors in the new Skyrise 3B Tower.

It can accommodate 940 people, creating hundreds of career opportunities for accountants, bookkeepers and professionals who support the growth of international accounting firms.

“These are world-class facilities, and this is something that we wanted to provide for our people for the incredible work that they do,” said TOA Global chief executive Jeremy Clements.

Clients get to choose whether their outsourced accountants work in-office, fully remote, or on a flexible arrangement.

TOA Global provided amenities to support the team’s productivity, learning and wellbeing to make the in-office experience even better.

These include an open-plan production area with natural light, training rooms, chillout rooms, a clinic, massage chairs, table tennis and billiards equipment, and a karaoke or KTV room—the last one available for use during breaks or after shifts, so team members can unwind in style.

Australian entrepreneur Nick Sinclair founded TOA Global in 2013, after he had led his own accounting and financial services business for more than 10 years and experienced firsthand how challenging the accounting talent shortage was.

He saw the potential for accounting outsourcing in the Philippines during an Entrepreneurs Organization board retreat.

“The accounting talent in Cebu is amazing and it’s because of you that we have grown this business,” Nick said.

“So much detail has gone into this new office, and this has well exceeded my expectations.”

Only 2 percent of Philippine universities that offer accountancy programs are based in Cebu.
