UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas (UST) employees said they would hold a prayer rally at the school’s gate fronting Lacson Street today, Friday, in protest of Manila Ordinance 8793, which requires a health certificate as a pre-employment requirement.
The protesters include members of Organisasyon ng Nagkakaisang Empleyado ng UST, Ugnayan ng mga Nagkakaisang Manggagawa ng University of Santo Tomas Hospital, Samahan ng mga Manggagawa sa UST, along with representatives from the Council of Teachers and Staff of Colleges and Universities in the Philippines.
