MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte asked forgiveness from members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KoJC) for persuading them to vote for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in 2022, as she condemned the “gross abuse of police power” in the raid on the KOJC compound on Saturday.
Police raided the KoJC compound in Davao City to serve an arrest warrant for Apollo Quiboloy who is accused of sexual abuse and human trafficking.
