TV host Willie Revillame uncovered a modus operandi involving participants on his variety show “Will to Win.”
In a viral TikTok video, Willie learned that a contestant was not genuinely part of a group from Binangonan, Rizal, during the “Hep Hep Hooray” segment.
When Willie asked for the contestant’s ID, she was unable to provide one. The contestant admitted that she was from Fairview and did not know the people she was with.
“We create this program to ensure fairness. Some people really travel just to participate,” Willie stated.
He also mentioned that many people outside are scheming to make money off those wanting to join his program.
“There are people outside who illegally do business, like renting out t-shirts—don’t rent anything because the previous users might be sick,” he warned.
Willie emphasized that this type of scheme has always existed, even when he was with other networks.
“That has been a problem ever since, from [ABS-CBN], TV5, GMA, and even when I returned to TV5, they’re still around,” he continued.
“We’re not asking for money here; we are the ones who will give to you,” added the TV host.
Willie announced that the contestant would be disqualified and that a certain “Anna Amor,” allegedly the coordinator outside the studio, has been banned from “Will to Win.”
