BENEFICIARIES of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) can now collect their cash grants for the June-July period.
The grants can be withdrawn from ATMs in select Land Bank of the Philippines branches or from accredited merchants via Point-of-Sale in their localities, DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said on Thursday.
Dumlao said the DSWD and Land Bank began crediting cash grants to 4Ps beneficiaries on September 5 until September 7.
Beneficiaries from the National Capital Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Regions 1(Ilocos Region), 2 (Cagayan Valley), 3 (Central Luzon), 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula), and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), and additional 4Ps households from Listahanan 3, can expect to receive their grants on September 5, Dumlao said.
Cash grants for recipients in Regions 8 (Eastern Visayas), 11 (Davao Region), 12 (Soccsksargen), 7 (Central Visayas), 10 (Northern Mindanao), and Caraga will be given on September 6.
Grants for beneficiaries in Regions 6 (Western Visayas), 5 (Bicol Region), 4A (Calabarzon) and 4B (Mimaropa) will receive their grants on September 7.
The 4Ps is the government’s main initiative for poverty reduction and social development.
The program provides cash subsidies to extremely poor households to improve their health, nutrition, and education, with the primary focus on children 18 years old and younger.
