THE SM Mall of Asia is now home to the first Disney Store in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, easily becoming a magical attraction for kids and the young at heart.
International Toy World Inc. President Rose Marie Dylim says the store is more than just a place to shop. She emphasizes that bringing the Disney Store to one of the largest shopping malls in the Philippines is intended to create a retail destination, where guests can look forward to making memories with their loved ones.
The Disney Store by SM offers products featuring world renowned characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. Plus, there are exclusive merchandise available only in the Philippines, making it a special shopping experience for local fans.
At the store, guests will be greeted by sculptures of Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse & Friends, Queen Elsa, Winnie the Pooh, Spider-Man and Darth Vader, among others. Fans can enjoy photo opportunities at designated photo spots while taking a break from shopping.
A wide selection of original and high-quality Disney merchandise, including toys, plushies, dolls, apparel, costumes, homeware and other collectibles, is available in-store. Fans can enjoy the convenience of finding select products from Disney Parks right at the newly opened local Disney Store.
Sara Grewal, vice president for Retail at Disney Consumer Products Asia-Pacific, shares her excitement with Disney fans in the Philippines with the unveiling of the Disney Store by SM.
“We look forward to bringing the magic of Disney closer to home for guests of all ages, and creating happiness for them every day,” Grewal says.
The store opening on September 26 has been remarked by dance performances to popular Disney songs and the attendance of notable personalities.
