MANILA, Philippines — The Light Rail Transit Authority will revisit its security protocols after a content creator treated his girlfriend to a “dinner date” on a train of the LRT Line 2.

The incident went past the LRTA’s security checks.

The rail management said it would review its security procedures to avoid a similar incident from happening again.

The LRTA called out TikTok user @TrionKwentos after he posted videos of himself “setting up a dinner table on a moving LRT-2 train.”

In some of the videos, his assistant put up a folding table, placed a candle and two glasses and took out a plate that contained snacks, which were offered to female commuters.

A female security officer of the LRT-2 tried to stop the TikTok user. But he continued his act when the guard left, according to another video with the caption, “Huli pero di kulong (Caught but not jailed).”

“Such activities are strictly prohibited on the LRT trains and facilities,” the rail management said.

The LRTA asked online content creators to “respect passengers and adhere to safety and security regulations of the agency.”

“We reserve the right to take appropriate actions against people who violate our safety and security guidelines,” LRTA administrator Hernando Cabrera said.

He said content creators should ask permission from the LRTA first before doing such stunts.

The TikTok user’s setup may endanger passengers, especially when the train applies its brakes, Cabrera said.

The guard who failed to implement the security policy will be transferred to another post, according to Cabrera.

Responding to bashers, @TrionKwentos said he wanted to show the world how “good” the public transportation system is in Manila.
