MANILA, Philippines— Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo has been transferred from the Philippine National Police’s Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory.
Guo’s convoy left the detention facility in Camp Crame at 8:49 a.m. She arrived at the Pasig jail at 9:14 a.m.
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology earlier said that Guo, who is facing qualified human trafficking charges, will share a cell with 44 other detainees.
The Pasig City Regional Trial Court-Branch 167 last week issued a commitment order. The criminal complaint filed against Guo is non-bailable.
