Kapamilya star Aljon Mendoza made his recording debut with the release of his single “Panghabang-Baby” on Sept. 27, following a live performance at the StarPop Campus Tour at Northern Iloilo State University on Sept. 18.
Aljon expressed his excitement about the experience, saying, “I’m really happy and excited to perform for the people, especially those who support me. I enjoy campus tours because I get to see the smiles on the students’ faces, and it makes me feel like I’m bringing them joy.”
“Panghabang-Baby,” a romantic pop track originally performed by Vance Larena, was composed by Nino Carlo J. Reyes and Philip Thomas Vinoya, with production by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos. Aljon described the song as having “pure intentions” and an “LSS-inducing” beat.
The former Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemate has also built a promising acting career, starring in several series, including Hoy Love You, The Viral Scandal, and Teen Clash. He recently appeared in the film Unhappy For You alongside Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
Aljon’s debut single is now available on digital streaming platforms.
