FDCP brings films by National Artists to streaming platform for Philippine Film Industry Month

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) continues its celebration of Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM) by streaming the works of several National Artists for Film and Broadcast on its streaming platform, JuanFlix: The FDCP Channel.

Titled “Pamanang Pelikula,” the selection features the iconic works of national artists Lino Brocka, including InsiangAng Tatay Kong NanayMaynila Sa Mga Kuko Ng LiwanagWhite Slavery, and Cain at Abel; Ishmael Bernal’s Pagdating sa DuloNunal sa TubigIkaw ay Akin, and Himala; Eddie Romero’s Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon?; Gerardo De Leon’s The Moises Padilla Story and Banaue; Lamberto Avellana’s A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino; Manuel Conde’s Genghis Khan; Marilou Diaz-Abaya’s BrutalMoral, and Karnal; and Kidlat Tahimik’s Perfumed NightmareBakit Dilaw ang Gitna ng Bahag-hari?Balikbayan #1Sinong Lumikha ng Yoyo? Sinong Lumikha ng Moon Buggy?, and Turumba.

Films written by National Artist Ricky Lee, such as Butch Perez’s Haplos, Mel Chionglo’s Lavriana and Sinner or Saint, and other titles mentioned above, are also part of the selection, along with films starring National Artist Nora Aunor, like Lupita Aquino-Kashiwahara’s Minsa’y Isang Gamu-Gamo, Eddie Garcia’s Atsay, and Brillante Mendoza’s Thy Womb, among others.
