MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine Embassy in Beirut advised all Filipinos in Lebanon to remain vigilant and stay indoors amid Israeli strikes against Hezbollah.
The embassy also advised Filipinos to avoid the southern suburbs of Beirut.
“It is crucial to remain vigilant and monitor local news for updates on this security situation. Avoid public gatherings and demonstrations, and refrain from going out unless necessary. If you find yourself in any of the above-mentioned areas, consider relocating to safer locations as a precaution,” it added.
Alert Level 3 remains hoisted in Lebanon, meaning Filipinos there may take advantage of the government’s offer of repatriation. Alert Level 4 means mandatory evacuation.
