MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Risa Hontiveros wants Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), to attend the next hearing of her committee. His alleged victims have confirmed their attendance, and the lawmaker believes that Pastor Quiboloy should face them.
“We will face Quiboloy and his co-accused in the Senate. Many ‘victims’ still want to testify to defend their humanity, dignity, and truth,” said Hontiveros, who led the Senate investigation into the alleged crimes committed by Quiboloy against KOJC members.
