Javee Mocon and Robert Bolick are set for a PBA reunion after NLEX sent a deal proposal to the PBA that will send the former to the Road Warriors in exchange for Ato Ular and a Season 51 second-round pick.

The deal is only awaiting approval from the PBA.

“We are thankful for Ato’s time with NLEX. Although it was brief, he brought energy to our practices and games,” said NLEX governor Ronald Dulatre in a statement.

“We wish him nothing but the best in his journey with Phoenix.”

Should the deal get the nod of the PBA, Mocon will get to play alongside his former college teammate Bolick whom he won several titles back when they were still bannering San Beda University in the NCAA.

Together, they led the Red Lions to the throne in Seasons 92 to 94.

Mocon will also reunite with another former Red Lion in Baser Amer with whom he won an NCAA title during Season 90.

He will join an NLEX team who’s currently on a two-game slide and will leave a Phoenix camp that is winless so far with a 0-6 slate.
