MANILA, Philippines— Malacañang suspended work in government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday, September 2, due to the heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm Enteng.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said the suspension took effect at 8:30 a.m.

The Palace earlier suspended classes in all levels in NCR because of the bad weather.

“Enteng” continued to intensify, with Storm Signal No. 2 up in many areas in northern and southern Luzon.
