President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday bid farewell to Ambassador Saleh As’ad Saleh Mohammad of the State of Palestine as he cited the strong relations between the two countries.
During the farewell call, Marcos acknowledged the envoy’s efforts in strengthening ties between the Philippines and the State of Palestine.
“As we bid farewell to His Excellency Saleh As’ad Saleh Mohammad, the departing Ambassador of the State of Palestine, we reflect on the strong ties of friendship between our nations over the past 35 years,” Marcos said.
“In these challenging times, we remain hopeful for peace and stability for all,” he added.
