President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Saturday acknowledged the positive results of a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
“While we are elated by this validation of our hard work, we view it more as a challenge to do even better,” Mr. Marcos said in a statement.
While favorable ratings are encouraging, the President noted that his administration remains focused on achieving the key goals that fulfill his promises to the Filipino people.
“We take the high road in our efforts, not merely to seek popularity, but to render genuine and effective service that improves our people’s lives, strengthens our nation, and secures our future,” Marcos said.
“More than the results of any opinion poll, this is the true reward and reaffirmation we seek,” he added.
More than half of Filipinos are satisfied with the Marcos administration, giving it a “good” +40 net satisfaction rating in June, according to the latest SWS survey.
