MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is skipping this year’s United Nations (UN) General Assembly at UN Headquarters in New York, and will, instead, be represented by Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo, Malacañang said Thursday.

Presidential Communications Secretary Cesar Chavez said that Manalo’s agenda in the assembly would include articulating the Philippines’ responses to global challenges.
