YouTube content creator Nicholas Perry, best known as online mukbang YouTuber Nikocado Avocado, took the internet by storm with his incredible weight loss reveal in a new video.
Posted on his main YouTube channel, the video titled “Two Steps Ahead” opens with him wearing a panda mask before revealing that he has lost 250 pounds over the last two years and that he has been posting pre-recorded mukbang videos on his three YouTube channels the entire time.
“This has been the greatest social experiment of my entire life,” the content creator said in the video, adding that the stint was directed at people on the internet who had been posting hate comments about his obesity.
“People are the most messed-up creatures on the entire planet, and yet I still managed to stay two steps ahead of everyone. The joke’s on you,” he added.
Later in the video, he is seen eating a large plate of black bean noodles, similar to what he used to do in his other mukbang videos. However, compared to his content from the past two years, he ends the video on a more positive note.
“I hope you enjoyed your food if you ate with me, which you should have because that’s what mukbang is supposed to be. That’s what it was originally for, and that’s what I’m trying to bring back to the internet,” he said.
“I love being a mukbanger. I love food. I like eating food, and I like being here,” he added.
Notably, Nikocado Avocado is known for his videos in which he devours large quantities of food while sometimes crying in front of the camera. This has led to both ridicule and concern from the internet and fellow content creators.
As of writing, the “Two Steps Ahead” video has garnered more than 18 million views, while its second part titled “hi.” on his second channel currently has 4 million views.
