The National Security Council (NSC) joined the Ateneo de Davao University’s conversation on the current situation in the West Philippine Sea.
“The NSC’s involvement underscores its ongoing collaboration with academic institutions to engage in meaningful dialogue on critical issues affecting the country’s security,” the NSC said.
NSC Deputy Director General Benjamin R. Madrigal Jr., participated in the talk and highlighted the NSC’s commitment to addressing these pressing national security concerns.
The event dubbed as “Bantay Dagat: Conversations on Security Issues in the West Philippine Sea” brought together experts and academics, including Ateneo President Fr. Karel San Juan, S.J., and VP for Higher Education Fr. Antonio Basilio, S.J.
The conversations focused on the challenges surrounding the West Philippine Sea, addressing key topics such as maritime security, international law, and regional stability.
