Juvyel Anne Saluta of the Philippines was crowned Miss Elite World 2024 during the pageant’s coronation ceremony in Somabay, Egypt on Saturday.
The 20-year-old model emerged victorious, surpassing 34 candidates from around the globe. Saluta, who also received the Best Smile award, was crowned by outgoing Miss Elite 2023, Mejreme Hajdaraj of Kosovo.
Prior to her win, Saluta held the title of Hiyas ng Pilipinas-Continental World 2023 and was originally set to compete in the Miss Continental World 2024 pageant in Thailand.
A proponent of education and women’s empowerment, Saluta was appointed by the Hiyas ng Pilipinas organization to represent the country at Miss Elite World.
Despite a short preparation period, Saluta noted that her team made every effort to excel in the competition.
First runner-up honors went to Victoria Maneiro of Venezuela, while Irene Grande of Spain, Sofia Gonzalez of Mexico, and Tawana Sheldrick of Indonesia rounded out the top five.
