MANILA, Philippines — Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sikorski will have a three-day official visit to the Philippines, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced yesterday.
The Polish foreign minister’s visit from Sept. 3 to 5 will coincide with the ongoing celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Poland.
Sikorski will meet Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo to discuss ways to further strengthen Philippines-Poland relations and exchange views on regional and international issues. He will also meet with other high-level officials of the Philippine government.
“Minister Sikorski previously visited the Philippines in 2006 in his capacity as Defense Minister,” the DFA said.
The visit to Manila is part of Sikorki’s official travel to Southeast Asia.
