In their first meetup, the Beermen lost to the Road Warriors in overtime, 112-108.
CJ Perez led the Beermen with 24 points, five rebounds, three blocks, and an assist, while June Mar Fajardo had 17 points, nine boards, two assist, and a block.
Robert Bolick had 24 points, 15 assists, three boards, and a steal, while Mike Miranda had 18 points and two rebounds.
San Miguel improved to 4-2, while NLEX slipped to 3-4 in Group B.
Earlier, Converge defeated NorthPort, 107-99.
Alec Stockton had 21 points, five rebounds, two blocks, an assist, and a steal, while Schonny Winston had 17 points, nine rebounds, and a steal as Converge improved to 3-4.
Venky Jois had 24 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, and three steals, while Arvin Tolentino had 21 points, 10 rebounds, three assist, and a steal as the Batang Pier slipped to 3-4.
