TECPLATA, the container terminal operated by International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) at La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has dredged its marine channels to a depth of 10 meters, positioning it ahead of other Buenos Aires terminals with limited depths.
Tecplata CEO Juan Pablo Trujillo said: “The development gives TecPlata an advantage over the terminals in Buenos Aires, where the channels are limited to 10 meters. Our next objective is to deepen the access channel further to 14 meters, aligning TecPlata with or surpassing other ports in the region.”
