MANILA, Philippines — Leading automotive firm Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) has opened two new service centers in Mindanao and Visayas to cater to more customers in these regions.
In a statement yesterday, TMP said it opened a service center in Koronadal in South Cotabato and the other in Danao in Cebu.
These two new facilities are aimed at providing reliable after-sales services to keep Toyota vehicles in tip-top condition.
TMP president Masando Hashimoto said Koronadal is one of the thriving cities in Mindanao, with promising prospects given various residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
“Indeed, Toyota’s presence is a commitment to support the economic growth and development of the city,” he said.
To provide the best quality services, he said the service center in South Cotabato is designed to service up to 35 customers per day.
The facility will also have new vehicle models on display and cater to sales inquiries.
Located at Purok Malipayon, Barangay Sto. Niño in South Cotabato, the Koronadal service center is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hashimoto also said TMP is the first automotive company to invest in Danao City in Cebu.
“As we establish Toyota’s presence and extend our services to our beloved Cebuano customers, we are committed to contributing to the economic growth of the City of Danao,” he said.
The local government aims to position Danao as a model of sustainable development supported by many programs such as urbanization, digitalization, investment promotion, tourism and active mobility.
TMP’s service center in Danao offers periodic maintenance, general job and body and paint services. It also has new Toyota models on display.
Like the service center in Koronadal, the facility in Danao features a modern showroom and a state-of-the-art service center that can accommodate more customers.
Customers can visit the Toyota Danao service center from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
