Former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo is expected to arrive in the Philippines from Jakarta, Indonesia around early evening this Thursday, according to Senate Committee on Public Services chairperson Sen. Raffy Tulfo.
Tulfo said Guo is onboard a Philippine Airlines chartered flight RP-C6188, which is estimated to arrive in Manila at 6:18 PM.
He said she is accompanied by Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos, Jr. and Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Rommel Francisco Marbil as reported earlier. Guo was arrested by Indonesian authorities on Wednesday morning.
Abalos and Marbil landed at the Soekarno Hatta International airport in Jakarta to pick up Guo, who was held under the custody of Indonesian law enforcement authorities. Guo is facing numerous complaints in connection with the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) industry.
Marbil and Abalos left Ninoy Aquino International Airport first at 11:20 last night aboard an 8-seater plane bound for Indonesia, according to the PNP.
