The Karaoke World Championships (KWC), founded in Finland in 2003, is the largest amateur singing competition in the world, bringing together singers from diverse backgrounds to showcase their vocal talent. This year, The New Channel (TNC), an online media platform focused on promoting Filipino talent and cultural innovation, hosted the Philippine leg of the competition.

As the KWC PH 2024 champion, Alinsonorin won an all-expense-paid trip to Finland for the world finals, along with a cash prize, a one-year artist management contract, and various other gifts from the event’s sponsors. His three competitors – Danilo Lipaopao of Luzon (1st runner-up), Erika Anne Buensuceso of Metro Manila (2nd runner-up), and Mary Joy Parasan of Mindanao (3rd runner-up) – also received cash prizes and special gift packs.

A distinguished panel of judges, including key figures from the entertainment and music industries, ensured a fair and comprehensive assessment of the finalists’ performances.
