Binisita ni Vice President Sara Duterte si dating Vice President Leni Robredo sa bahay ng huli sa Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Ayon sa spokesperson ni Robredo na si Barry Gutierrez, nasa Naga si Duterte para sa Penafrancia Festival nang puntahan nito ang dating bise presidente.
“Former VP Leni Robredo was in Naga for the Penafrancia Festival. While she was there, VP Sara Duterte visited her at her house,” ani Gutierrez.
Idinagdag pa ni Gutierrez, na “personal and not political” ang pagkikita ng dalawa.
“VP Leni was informed of the visit only minutes before when she was told that VP Sara was already on the way. The visit lasted for about an hour,” sabi pa ni Gutierrez.
Sa isang pahayag mula sa Office of the Vice President (OVP), nakasaad na inimbitahan si Duterte ng mga kaibigan nito na Bicolano para dumalo sa centennial anniversary mass para sa Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Peñafrancia nitong Biyernes.
“The same friend also arranged a casual meeting with former Vice President Leni Robredo,” ayon sa pahayag.
“During her stay in Naga, Vice President Duterte visited several prominent Bicol personalities and heard Mass with ordinary Bicolanos. She neither looked desperate nor distressed,” dagdag nito. —FRJ, GMA Integrated News
