President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sees nothing wrong with government personnel taking selfies with dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo, saying it’s ‘part of the new culture’ and there’s nothing much more to it than that. In an interview with reporters on Sept. 6, 2024, the President also said he wanted Guo to ‘lay out, exactly,’ how POGOs became a ‘criminal enterprise,’ adding that it’s impossible to believe that Guo, a mayor, did not know what was going on in her town.
