“We have also turned over the microfilm viewer, including the reels of previous issues (1947-2003), to the Baguio City Public Library,” said the publication’s administration.

The publication also announced that it will cease its Facebook page by the end of this month.

“Due to the closure and cessation of operations of the Baguio Midland Courier effective July 22, 2024, we would like to inform the public that this official Facebook account/page of the Baguio Midland Courier will be taken down effective October 31, 2024,” it stated.

The BMC is also working on digitizing its archives and has assured the public of their availability once completed.
