The island of Boracay placed third among the top tourist destinations in Asia in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards.
In a statement from the Department of Tourism, four Philippine islands made the list, including Palawan, Cebu, and Siargao.
“We are immensely grateful to global travelers who have chosen the Philippines and continue to explore the natural beauty and vibrant culture of our islands,” said Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.
Frasco added that the recognition highlights the rich and diverse tourist experiences in the Philippines.
The list also included Koh Samui in Thailand, Langkawi in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Phú Quõc in Vietnam, Phuket in Thailand, and Bali in Indonesia.
