THE Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CeMAP) has reaffirmed its dedication to promoting safety in logistics operations by signing the Transport Safety Pledge.

CeMAP’s initiative highlights the importance of maintaining road safety amid the inherent risks associated with trucking and delivery logistics. CeMAP aims to mitigate these risks by fostering a strong safety culture among its members.

The Transport Safety Pledge serves as a guiding principle for each member’s actions and decisions concerning road safety. By prioritizing safety, CeMAP ensures the well-being of its members and employees and the communities they serve.

“We believe that safety is of greatest importance in everything we do,” said CeMAP President Reinier Dizon. “Our commitment to safety extends beyond the confines of our own manufacturing operations and into our communities, especially during the transport of our products.”

CeMAP Executive Director Renato Baja added, “As an organization, CeMAP understands that safety is a collective effort that requires collaboration and vigilance from all stakeholders.”
