The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Sunday concluded the sixth day of the filing period with 8 senatorial aspirants and 14 party-list groups.

Meanwhile, here are the party-list groups who are seeking seats in the House of Representatives:

- Abante Pangasinan Ilocano (API)
- Unyon ng mga Gabay ng Bayan (UGB)
- Pamilya, Pasyente, PWD (P3 PWD)
- Epanaw Sambayanan
- Eduaksyon

This would account for a total of 58 aspiring senators and 87 party-lists since the day first day of the filing period last Oct. 1.
“Bagamat yung natitira medyo madami-dami pa rin yun kaya inaanticipate natin yung pagdagsa nila dalawang araw bago yung mismong last day ng filing ng certificate of candidacy,” Comelec Chairman George Garcia told the media.
(However, the remaining party-lists are quite a lot so we’re anticipating the influx of party-list groups two days before the last day of COC and certificates of nomination and acceptance (CONA) filing.)
