MANILA 1st District Rep. Ernesto Dionisio Jr. on Thursday filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC) to seek reelection.
He was accompanied by former Manila mayor Isko Moreno, who was running for mayor of the nation’s capital anew.
Dionisio said he hoped to uplift the condition of poor Tondo residents.
Former Taguig mayor Lino Cayetano, accompanied by his wife Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, also filed his CoC for representative of Taguig’s 1st district.
He vowed to fight for the creation of a third legislative district in Taguig for 10 barangay (villages) belonging to an enlisted men’s barrio (EMBO).
Others who filed their CoCs on Thursday include Makati Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo for Makati 1st district representative, Makati Councilor Dennis Almario for Makati 2nd district representative, Bohol 3rd District Rep. Kristine Alexie Tutor for reelection, Quezon 3rd District Rep. Reynante Arrogancia for reelection, and Pinuno Party-list Rep. Howard Guintu for Capiz 1st district representative.
