Brian Poe Llamanzares, son of Senator Grace Poe, is joining the political race in Eleksyon 2025 as the first nominee of the FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list.
Poe accompanied her son on Thursday, who filed his certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) at the Manila Hotel Tent.
“Brian has carved out a niche for himself in public service, and is very much qualified and ready for a bigger role,” Poe said in a press statement.
“We support wholeheartedly his nomination by the FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list, a group he helped organize and lead since 2013 as a foundation,” she said.
According to Llamanzares, the FPJ party-list intends to continue Poe’s legislative agenda and represent the sectors of urban poor, informal settlers, transportation, youth, farmer, fisherfolks, and frontliners.

“I took my Masters on climate change, on national security and PhD on public administration. I started from the bottom as a researcher. Lahat ng legislative agenda dumaan sa desk ko kaya sa tingin ko handa akong magsilbi para sa bayan,” he added.

The party-list named Marc Petron as its second nominee and Hiyas Dolor as the third nominee.
Meanwhile, 1 Agila Partylist and Swerte Party-list also filed their candidacies.
1 Agila Partylist said if it wins the election, it will work on the development of Zamboanga Peninsula.
Swerte Party-list said if given a seat at the House, they will work on measures that support solo parents such as additional cash aid to solo parents with more children.
