Disney Adventure brings fun-filled voyages to Singapore
Life is often seen as a journey with a final destination in mind. But what if the journey itself was the ultimate goal?
The Disney Adventure cruise ship, setting sail from Singapore in 2025, embraces this philosophy by offering a unique experience where the voyage is just as important as the pit stops.
With fun-filled days at sea and a focus on immersive experiences, the ship transforms into a world of its own and promises endless fun and adventure for every guest.
At Marina Bay Sands’ Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore last Wednesday, Oct. 16, we were invited to join a magical journey as Disney Cruise Line unveiled its newest ship. This grand reveal of the Disney Adventure promises an unforgettable experience for families and Disney fans alike, bringing the enchantment of Disney to the seas.
A new chapter
“I have to say I am so incredibly excited to be here with you today to show the next chapter of our Disney adventure story,” said Sharon Siskie, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Cruise Line. “And very soon you will be among the first to see what’s in store for this spectacular ship.”
The Disney Adventure, Disney’s first cruise ship to sail in Asia, launches its maiden voyage on Dec. 15, 2025, with bookings opening Dec. 10, 2024.
The journey is the destination
“What makes the Disney Adventure so special is that the ship itself is the destination,” explained Sarah Fox, Vice President and Regional General Manager in Southeast Asia. “Sailing on three and four-night voyages with only magical days at sea, the Disney Adventure will be both the journey and the destination, filled with endless possibilities for fun.”
With a focus on immersive experiences, the Disney Adventure promises something for everyone. From youth clubs and kids’ pools to adult-exclusive spas and restaurants, guests of all ages will find their taste of magic on board. The Disney Adventure features seven uniquely themed areas, each designed to transport guests into the heart of their favorite Disney stories:
The Disney Adventure offers a range of themed areas designed for immersive fun. Disney Imagination Garden features a multi-level performance space and a towering screen that brings beloved characters to life.
Toy Story Place is a water playland with pools and exciting features like Woody and Jessie’s Wild Slides. San Fransokyo Street, inspired by Big Hero 6, is a bustling area with gaming lounges and appearances by Baymax. Town Square celebrates Disney Royals, offering shops, cafes, and family entertainment.
Disney Discovery Reef showcases aquatic stories with themed dining, while Wayfinder Bay, inspired by Moana, includes a relaxing pool area with live shows. Marvel Landing adds thrill with the longest roller coaster at sea and other superhero-themed attractions.
Rooms for comfort and convenience
“The Disney Adventure will offer a wide variety of staterooms, all designed with guest convenience and comfort in mind,” said Lisa Picket, Hotel Director of Disney Cruise Line. She added, “This means, regardless of how you want to travel, or who you want to travel with, you’re going to find that perfect choice that fits your needs.”
Options range from classic Ocean View staterooms to premium Garden View and Reef View staterooms, all featuring Disney touches and family-friendly amenities. For those seeking the ultimate indulgence, the Disney Adventure boasts two exclusive royal suites inspired by Frozen.
Dining delights
Dining on the Disney Adventure is also an adventure in itself. “On board the Disney Adventure, dining will be much more than just a meal. It will be a chance for guests to interact with favorite Disney stories in exciting ways only Disney Cruise Line can cook up, with menus featuring an enticing blend of international flavors, including regionally inspired dishes from Asia and Disney treats,” said Daniel Cowan, Senior Manager of Dining Standards.
With rotational dining, guests will visit seven themed restaurants throughout their cruise, accompanied by a dedicated service team. From the Navigator Club and Hollywood Spotlight Club to Enchanted Summer Restaurant and Pixar Market Restaurant, each venue offers a unique culinary experience.
For adults seeking a more refined experience, Palo Trattorino offers artfully prepared Italian fare, while Mike & Sully’s Flavors of Asia provides a sophisticated take on Japanese steakhouse dining.
Entertainment showcase
“This ship is absolutely full of entertainment at every turn, from bow to stern,” said Jenny Weinbloom, Vice President of Live Entertainment Disney Signature Experiences. “Everywhere you look, there’s going to be chances to meet and play with our characters, feature live music, scene-directed performances, karaoke, game shows, signature events, first-run films.”
The Disney Adventure boasts multiple entertainment venues, including the Disney Imagination Garden Stage, home to the epic superhero show Avengers Assemble and the interactive Baymax Super Exercise Expo.
The crown jewel is the Walt Disney Theater, where guests can enjoy Broadway-style productions like Disney Seas the Adventure and the all-new musical spectacular Remember, developed exclusively for the Disney Adventure.
The magic continues
