But Mary Chiles Hospital clarified in a Facebook post on Tuesday that the fire hit a house at the back, and that the rest of the hospital was spared.
Three minutes after it started, the fire was placed under the first alarm and raised to the second alarm 10 minutes later.

Patients from the hospital and students from the nearby University of the East were evacuated.
