Anthony “Ka Tunying” Taberna’s YouTube channel, Tune in Kay Tunying, is back five days after it was hacked by cryptocurrency proponents.
The hack resulted in the loss of nearly 800,000 subscribers and all video uploads since 2020. The channel was renamed, its content deleted, and crypto-related videos were uploaded.
In a statement posted on Ka Tunying’s Facebook page, he said that he and his team were initially disheartened, fearing their four years of hard work had been lost. However, they were able to recover the channel thanks to the help of technical experts, particularly Brother Roden Ico, who was introduced by Ka Tunying’s sister and friend, Tintin Albania.
Despite the technical challenges, including the inability to remove the new name set by the hackers, the channel was restored with the help of a team led by Ka Noel Cebreiros.
Also in his statement, Ka Tunying emphasized the importance of brotherly love and community support, noting that Brother Roden had offered his help even before being asked.
Ka Tunying looks forward to personally thanking Brother Roden for his invaluable assistance.
