The Department of Tourism (DOT) recently awarded the city of Las Piñas and its local tourism office the “Best Tourism Festival: Religious Festival” during the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) Pearl Awards.
The Las Piñas City Tourism and Cultural Office (LPTCO) was recognized for its dedication to promoting the city’s tourism through the International Bamboo Organ Festival, which was the city’s entry in the Pearl Awards.
In a statement released by city mayor Imelda Aguilar, she praised LPTCO Chief Paul Ahljay San Miguel for leading Las Piñas’ programs in promoting its tourism to both local and international tourists.
The cities of Manila and Parañaque were also given the same award.
