Marco Gumabao on Tuesday filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for Camarines Sur Fourth District Representative.
On Instagram, the actor shared some photos from his COC filing at the Ka Fuerte Sports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur, where he was accompanied by his girlfriend Cristine Reyes.
“Today marks a new journey. Para sa’kin, simula ‘to ng isang malaking yugto sa aking buhay. Panibagong simula na sigurado ako makaka gawa ng malaking epekto hindi lang para sa sarili ko, kundi sa buong 4th district ng CamSur,” Marco wrote in the caption.
“Buo ang loob ko na lumaban para sa pagbabagong matagal nang inaasam, pagbabagong matagal na dapat pinaramdam sa partido,” he added.
Marco is under Team One CamSur of the National Unity Party, which comprises Fifth District Representative Miguel Luis “”Migz” Villafuerte, Governor Luigi Villafuerte, Second District Representative Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte, Vice Governor Sal Fortuno Jr., and Nonoy Magtuto.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) kicked off on Tuesday the week-long filing of COCs for the 2025 national and local elections (NLE) in May, with more than 18,000 positions up for grabs.
