President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos to take Undas (All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day) as a time for reflection.

In his message, the President invited the nation to look back on the lives of the departed faithful who embodied values that continue to inspire.

“This is a time for reflection by which we recall the deceased faithful who led lives of honor, sacrifice, and service,” Mr. Marcos said.

He encouraged Filipinos to use the occasion to fortify bonds for the betterment of spiritual life, not only with the divine but also with one another.

The President also urged them to spend the holidays with family, visit their loved ones’ graves, and offer “heartfelt prayers and gratitude” for those who have passed.

“May this remind us of the values that shall endure through us as a nation: faith, resilience, and hope,” Marcos said.

“Reflecting on our journey in this world, let us strive to live with love and compassion for others, ever seeking the common good, just as the saints and our loved ones did in their time,” he added.
