Fans have been buzzing about Marlo Mortel’s recent social media post, where he shared a video of himself and Janella Salvador dressed in vintage outfits.
Meanwhile, Star Magic shared photos of the two, captioned “Oras na” with an hourglass emoji.
Fans quickly speculated that the photos might be for the film adaptation of “ILYS1892,” marking a comeback for the MarNella tandem. While some expressed excitement for the movie, others suggested it could be for a music video.
For years, fans have called on ABS-CBN to cast Marlo and Janella in the movie version of “ILYS1892.”
Written by Binibining Mia, “ILYS1892” tells the story of Carmela, a modern woman from the 21st century, who is transported to the 19th century and takes on the identity of Carmelita Montecarlos. As she adapts to her new life and searches for a way back home, she falls for Juanito Alfonso, a doctor-in-training. Marlo and Janella first teamed up in the hit 2013 TV series “Be Careful With My Heart,” playing Luke and Nikki.
