Property developer Megaworld Corp. announced Monday the appointment of Kevin Andrew Tan, the son of founder Andrew Tan, as the new executive director and board member of the company, effective immediately.
Tan, 45, previously served as executive vice president and chief strategy officer, where he was instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic initiatives.
Megaworld is the real estate arm of Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI), the listed holding company of Andrew Tan.
Kevin Tan also recently took on the role of chairman of Travellers International Hotel Group Inc., the gaming firm of AGI, further solidifying his leadership position in the industry.
Tan brings a wealth of experience to his new role. In addition to his responsibilities at Megaworld, he also serves as vice-chairman, president and chief executive of AGI.
Tan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Asia and the Pacific. His extensive background and connections position him well to guide Megaworld’s growth and success in the years ahead.
Megaworld also disclosed the resignation of Katherine Tan from the board of directors.
