Downtown-owned B2B distributor Fuga has announced a new partnership with Manila-based management and production company Asintada, alongside new hires to support business development in Indonesia and South Asia.

The partnership follows several recent signings in the Philippines, including Morobeats, 314 Studios, and Crown Studios Inc.

Asintada, founded in 2012, represents prominent Filipino hip-hop artists, including Gloc-9, and emerging Original Pilipino Music talent such as Shanti Dope, Flow G, and Skusta Clee.

Known for his influence in the Filipino music industry, Gloc-9 has over 60 awards and more than half a billion Spotify streams.

Thea Gomez-Pollisco, CEO and Head Talent Specialist at Asintada said the partnership aligns with their mission to advance Filipino hip-hop by supporting both well-known artists and new talent. “Our new partnership with FUFugaGA will bring us to greater heights as we face the challenge of whatever is next for us,” she stated.

Fuga will provide global distribution and marketing support to Asintada, offering access to its trends and analytics platform.

Fuga also announced partnerships with the Jesuit Communications Foundation, Crown Studios, and 314 Studios. The Jesuit Communications Foundation, part of the Society of Jesus in the Philippines, is known for its audiovisual productions and digital content. Crown Studios, led by actress Maja Salvador, and 314 Studios, a collective of producers and songwriters, round out the distributor’s recent roster.

Fuga has appointed Noorcahyo Istyabudi to lead business development in Indonesia, where he brings experience from ByteDance, MOLA Records, and the AMI Awards. Jaya J. Singh has been named Regional Representative for South Asia, overseeing operations in India and the SAARC region. Both will report to Anita Zagar, Fuga’s Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific.

“With remarkable growth in local talent across the region, FUGA is proud to work with some of APAC’s most groundbreaking labels and artists,” Zagar said.
