The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced that line crews have been mobilized and conducting patrols amid the damage caused by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.
The NGCP is conducting restoration activities in areas are already made accessible the their teams.
Please note, NGCP said, that this update is only on the status of the transmission network.
“Localized disturbances may be better addressed by your distribution utility,” said NGCP, adding that “This also does not include lines exclusively serving directly connected industrial customers.”
“Specific cities and municipalities affected by the unavailable transmission facility are determined by concerned Distribution Utilities, unless the outage affects the entire franchise area,” the company said.
The following transmission lines are currently unavailable:
Luzon
Labrador – Bolinao 69kV Line (partially energized)
- Date/Time Out: 24 October 2024 / 8:09PM
- Customer affected: CENPELCO, PANELCO I
Batangas-Mabini-Cuenca 69kV line
- Date/Time Out: 23 October 2024/11:23PM
- Customer affected: BATELEC II
Batangas-Taysan 69kV Line
- Date/Time Out: 24 October 2024/5:49AM
- Customer affected: BATELEC II
Naga-Iriga 69kV Line (partially energized)
- Date/Time Out: 22 October 2024/9:39PM
- Customer affected: CASURECO III
The NGCP also said that there is also one (1) 500kV transmission line unavailable. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
